This is a high carbon steel. The scales are cherry wood and has aluminum pins. It features a 4" hollow grind with secondary bevel and some light filework on the spine. This one was one of my first handmade knives and was just sitting on a shelf. It's not perfect but should serve someone a lifetime or more with proper care. There is some minor staining on the metal by the handles which I will do my best to get out before shipping. High carbon steel and hot/humid Arkansas weather don't always work well together. Stuff can rust or stain sitting on a shelf covered in oil around here. Bid high for the kids.
