When is the best time of year to do this trip?

Eny time from now till late fall, just can get a little cool in the fall but very good fishing. The big hatches start as it starts to warm up and the high water starts to drop. If you like dry fly fishing June to august. If you are a Streamer junky, early spring & late fall.

I talked with my adopted children Hunter & Kam in New Mexico, it is worth at least:

$250

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

If the flies Stickhorse tyies (which I won in last years auction) even remotely represent his fishing prowess, this is a steal.

Not to get too caught up with logistics, but whereabouts is this trip located? Ball park location is all, not asking for you to give up your haunts.

Interested in bidding, just not exactly sure what it would entail to get there from say Denver?

Looks like an amazing trip...

We fish from a few miles below South Fork up to the head waters of the Rio Grand. Just depends on the float time we want and river flows.

No trouble giving up eny secrets as this is a well known Gold medal river. One of Colorado's highest fish counts per mile of river.

You may have to do a non disclosure paper before you leave on the kinds of flys used though. LOL

We will be using the newer mode of travel. I will post a few photos from last weekends float, as soon as I can get them to load.

Couple of fish from last weekend. Started a little chilly but ended in a nice day for a great float. We fished streamers all day.
